AIR FORCE - 8 STEPS TO TOTAL WELLNESS

This training is for active military, reservist or retired military. There are eight steps to get you moving into the fit lane.

 

Your performance depends solely upon your physical and emotional health along with skills. 

Each acronym of AIR FORCE represents a distinct behavior needed to achieve total wellness. 

Seminar Outline

AIR FORCE is designed to strengthen the performance of soldiers and leaders. We recognize the awesome responsibility our servicemen endure, and the core areas covered in this training assist them with the needed skills to better serve. You have to be fit to carry the weight and meet daily challenges.

  • Perform proper breathing to improve mental stamina

  • Achieve a more sound sleep

  • Choose food for health and increased productivity

  • Write your path to a purposeful life

  • Identify concrete ways to manage stress

  • Manage your negative influences

  • Increase your fit factor

 

Step 1: Breathing and Health

The importance of how deep breathing can decrease stress, increase mental clarity and improve overall sense of well-being will be discussed. 

Step 2: Inventory

The keys to success start with specific direction backed by actions. In this segment soldiers will write short and long-term goals and objectives. These goals will help them better manage routine tasks and achieve their targeted career path.

Just like spring cleaning is necessary, taking self-inventory requires attention. Don't avoid what is crucial for progress and living a purposeful life. Acquire the tactics taught in this training to do what successful businessman do to get ahead. In addition, the segment "dark room cleaning" is covered to help soldiers deal with the weights of negativity and its impact on performance.

Step 3: Rest and Health

Our over stimulated society with the Internet, social networking, sports, and disturbing news can interfere with getting sound rest. Soldiers will learn how and when to get quality sleep that improves their immune system which is needed for optimal health.

Step 4: Food Choices

Good food builds strong bodies and minds. Soldiers will be able to plan and select food choices that fuel performance needed to meet the daily demands.

Step 5: Omit

In this segment, attendees will have difficult decisions to make. The choices made will determine their outcomes and can reduce their risk for disease and diminished physical performance.

Step 6: Recover

Life can throw punches that strip away at your vital forces. Getting stuck is a major blockade that robs energy mentally and physically. To recover is to return to a normal state of health, and regain mental and physical well-being.

Step 7: Circle of Support

Being able to work with a team and garner support is important. Isolation during harsh situations can be detrimental. What to look for in people who can be trusted is addressed.

Step 8: Exercise

What nutrients are needed before and after workouts to fuel your body are covered.
