Voyage to Excellence

I struggled with the aftermath of disappoinments. None of my projects at that time were sailing along. And then my brother, who I adored, died and my previous passion and zest to boost my recently published book and work on other ventures faded.
I realized I was traveling on unknown territory and what I need most was to come aside and rest. My rest period extended for several years, but I was fortunate because people started coming into my life to bring that spark back. They were my cheerleaders, and had a strong belief in my talents and abilities.
Now I am going full speed ahead with my plans to make my dreams come true. Oh, I know it won't happen with a snap, crackle or pop, but I believe in me and the pursuit of excellence.
I cannot tolerate mediocrity. How about you? Do you believe in yourself? Do you have a friend or co-worker who cheers you on and inspires the best in you? Look at your closest associates. Are they living their dreams or constantly whinning and complaining? You absorb that negative energy, and it is time to surround yourself with people who see you in the BIG picture.
I take the time to manufacture excellence. Start with small things practicing putting your best foot forward. Before you know it excellence will become you and that is very attractive.
Capn Dee, Bon Voyage!!!
